How the day goes
The tour starts in Riga, and you travel in a comfortable air-conditioned car with an English-speaking guide. The first stop is Turaida, where you can walk through the museum grounds and climb the tower for views over the valley. Next comes Gutmanis Cave, Latvia’s first tourist attraction, followed by a lunch break at a local café.
In the afternoon you visit Sigulda’s castles and finish at the bobsleigh track, one of only a few of its kind in the world. Groups are small, so the pace is relaxed and the guide can adjust the stops to your interests.
